Anthony Lyons, President
Anthony Lyons is a professional accountant and an MBA graduate who has been working for 40 years in positions of accountant, financial controller and business consultant in various industries and in different countries. He started his public accounting practice as ANTHONY LYONS, INC. in recent years.
Since his family moved back to Canada in 2007, he started his volunteer work for a variety of communities and has been serving nine different charitable and non-profit organizations as director or treasurer.
Carmen Li, 1st Vice President
Carmen Li immigrated to Vancouver in 2007 and has been teaching Chinese and promoting the Chinese culture till now. In 2014, she founded Tao Lee Chinese Learning Centre with students studying from kindergarten to Grade 12. Carmen always organizes students’ performances for people of different age groups in the local community to promote the Chinese culture and foster the benevolent hearts of the young people.
Pearl Chan, Treasurer
Pearl Chan is a retired accountant, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She obtained the degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration (“BBA”) and Bachelor of Laws (“LLB”) from the University of British Columbia, Canada and the University of Wolverhampton, UK respectively. She has over 20 years of experience working in both corporate and public accounting in Hong Kong.
Dr. Vivian Lo, Secretary PZC
Dr. Vivian Lo is an educational psychologist, counsellor and art therapist, operating her education and counselling centre in Richmond. In the past 40 years, she has been actively promoting charitable activities, youth development and seniors’ services. She has joined the Lions Clubs for more than 15 years, having served as the Zone Chair of A-1 and A-7 and a member of the Cabinets of Districts A and L. She founded Vancouver Point Grey Lions Club in 2019 and co-founded the Vancouver Point Grey Community Foundation with Anthony Lyons in 2023. Her motto is, “We Serve.”
